Michelle, Claire and family, We want to express our deepest sympathy to each of you at this time. We always enjoyed having Scott in our home as he was a friend of our son,Jeff. Scott always lite up a room with his beautiful smile and positive Christian personality. One special time was when Scott, Michelle, Jeff and other gather around our piano singing Also it was special to see and hear Scott and Jeff sing at church. I had the honor to recruit Scott to play football at MidAmerica Nazarene University. Although an injury cut his career short he continued to be a supporter of the team. Time will never diminish the influence that Scott had on all of us that he touched. May God bring to each of you His peace and may His presence be with this day and the days ahead.

To the Hendrix family, I am so saddened to hear about Scott's sudden passing. Not knowing him well I did meet you at the time of our mothers death, Kathy West. Your family give mom such a joy. Always enjoyed seeing Scott whenever I worked in ER. He always smiled and said hello even if he was busy.Scott was patient, kind and thoughtful. He once brought us ice cream bars because the AC was messed up and it was so hot in our office. The little things that are so memorable. Scott will be missed at ACH. Dear family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We remember Scott and Michelle showing up on our doorstep in Gardner, 2005, after we lost our baby. To this day I describe it as "seeing Angels" when I opened the door. We didn't know them, but they came anyways. And to this day I remember seeing their van full of kids in the driveway and hoping that we could have a van full of kids, too. God used them to lift our grieving hearts that day.
