One of the main memories that sticks out in my mind is that Western was always friendly and he had that deep southern accent that you couldn't forget. I used to call him "Best Western" like the hotel, and he would always laugh at that. I will miss the Big Guy, and he is truly one of God's children.

I became great friends of Nicole and Western when I became employeed for the same bank as Nicole. I love these two like they are my own children and that precious daughter of theirs (Karlie Jean) i such a delight. I will never forget Western for the fun loving person that he was and that he never seemed to get to serious about anything or let anything get him down. He will greatly be missed by me and my family but I will always remain in touch with Karlie and Nicole (Lil Bit) I use to tell Nicole and Western that before Karlie was born she was the luckiest baby to come into the world because she had two wonderful parents, I still believe she is a very blessed baby girl for having a dady that would never let her go and a mommy the loves her so unconditionally My thoughts and prayers will remain with the Gearge and Doughty Families God bless You all

I had a pool Party for the 4th of July in 2007 and western and Nicole (pregnant as ever) came with Mr Joe (the dog) we were all sitting around the pool and western got a wild hair and wanted to throw me in the pool, well he managed to do just that. I landed wrong in the shallow end and hurt my foot so i doing the normal thing tried to get him back and that i did but then he got hurt on the big lava rocks that sit around the pool. So a joke got started that he was going to buy me some silver centrum vitiamins well i beat good ol Western to the punch line When Karlie was born i took him a blue pacifier and a bottle of flintstone vitiamins to the hospital for his young tail end cause he thought this 40 yr old lady couldnt recoop from her injury. You would've had to been there to see the humor in all of this I love ya you big oof

All I have are good memories of him, but i will miss him. I will always be waiting for that smart ass comment from left field. You made an impact on me buddy, and i won't ever forget you. See you in Heaven when i get there. Later, Highspeed.

We only met Western (Juket as Cole calls him) only a couple of times when we would visit family. During most of our visits he would be in Iraq or working. To listen to Cole and the George family talk about him, it is like we have known him all our lives. We all have truly been blessed to have Juket in our lives, he will be missed. He has returned home to Heavenly Father who has brought him home for a reason. Our thought and prayer are with all of you at this difficult time. Our hearts ache for you Cole and Karlie. A very special man has left but is only gone, his kind spirit will always be with you. God bless you and keep you.
Love always Kyle, Cyndi, KC, AJ, Matt, Kyler and Korbyn The Wyoming Clan.

My Prayers are with the family and friends of Western. This was a tragic loss of a strong family man with strong family values. I did not know Western very long but the time that we did spend together did not feel like he was just a friend. Western gave you a strong presence of Love,Joy, and Happiness. He has made a long lasting imprint on my life because where ever he was and who ever he spoke with walked away from Western with a calm spirit and a smile on there face no matter what was going on in your life. I don't know who raised Western but I can say this........They raised a beautiful man in so many ways. And for that I thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet an Angel that walked Gods Earth. I Know that Western's flesh has left us but his spirit will last an eternity. God bless you all but especially his beautiful wife and child. Thank You all.

I remember him pretty well, we played football together. He was one of the really nice good guys. It seems strange how the good guys always gets the bad breaks, huh? For those who don't know him well he always had a easy going personality and postive outlook on things. There is alot of people that will miss a great guy like that. I hate seeing things like that happen. God be with him and his family.

Mike and I would like to send our love and comfort to all the family of Weston. We were so sad to hear that Weston did not survive his injuries.
I praised the Lord that he provided me to be with Linda at the time she received the phone call from Chris that he had passed. Please remember that Weston is with the Lord and that his pain is now renewed to a new body and he is at peace and in the presence of the love of the Lord. We would also like to offer our time, our ears and our hearts to anyone that needs someone to visit with over their loss. We pray that God continue to be with you all at this most sorrowful time. The Lord Bless You and Keep You, The Lord Put His Face Upon You and Give You Peace.
Sending with love,

I was a school bus driver for Western and his 2 brothers, Van and Newton. He was in my grandson, Brandon Sagers class and Newton was in my granddaughter Brette's class.
The Doughty boys were always very polite and friendly and helful. I stopped the bus near their home one evening and we watched 2 cougar cubs playing in the road for awhile. They always gave me a weather report as they entered the bus of the morning. I am glad Western and Brandon both lived in Spring, Tex. and got to renew their friendship recently. I have known his grandparents, the Doughtys and Irwins since the 1940's. Love, Norma Stahl

I worked with Western at Fort Sill as he was preparing to leave the Army. He was such a genuine person and worked very hard to ensure that he got a good job once he left the military so he could provide his family with the very best. I helped him along the way with preparing his resume and practicing for his job interview, and I can remember how excited he was when he was offered the job in Houston. I know that Western will be greatly missed, and I will keep his family in my prayers.
