Dear Register Family,
We just found today about Dean's passing. We are all in shock. He was such a wonderful friend to our father Paul. Dean always checked up on him and made sure he was ok. He always thought of others before himself. We are going to miss his visits but rest assured that he will be watching over all of you (and my father). My he rest in peace. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

It was a pleasure working with Dean during his time as a county commissioner. He was very common sense and and made sure that everyone was treated fairly. I will really miss his "Hey kiddo! What's going on?" Dean never stopped working but now it is time for him to rest. He will be remember for all the good he did.

In the early 60's Dean would hire us to help with his hay harvest. (Myself, Jim Wylie, Bill Wheeler, Ron Weatherby) How he got any work out of that bunch was a miracle! Dean always paid us well, probably more than we were worth, taught us how to work. I know I appreciate that now as I look back over the years. Dean was a good buddy and would give us his last dollar if we needed it. I know he's in Heaven now and I look forward to visiting with him for eternity. Dennis Baxter

What a warm, wonderful, considerate, honest, hard working, enjoyable man. Dean always told me how much he missed talking to my dad. Now they can have endless conversations about tractors, trucks, and mechanicing!!! Dean will be sorely missed. It was an honor to have known him. May he rest in peace.

Karen, and families: Dean gave it a long hard fight but he and Neil are finally together again. Dean was respected by everyone that knew him. He was honest and his word meant something. When he was the County Commissioner in our area all you had to do was ask him once or tell him about a situation and he saw to it that it was taken care of. I felt so sorry for all of you when the fire destroyed the family home. Treasures were gone and they then became your memories. Now Dean is the treasure that has been taken you will always have your memories. God bless you all.
