Kenneth L. Skillman, age 51, of Belton, Missouri, formerly of Garnett, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 being held in the arms of his family at his home. He was born July 20, 1957, in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Paul and Nadine (McCain) Skillman. He graduated from Garnett High School and attended some college. Kenneth married Rebecca Webber on September __, 1979, at Garnett, Kansas and this union was blessed with five children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Nadine Skillman; and two brothers, Darrell Skillman and Larry Skillman. Kenneth is survived by his wife Becky of the home; three sons, Paul Skillman of Belton, Missouri; Richard Skillman and wife Prudence of Belton, Missouri; Scottie Skillman of Paola, Kansas; two daughters, Jennifer Mullins and husband Tom of Belton, Missouri and Latasha Skillman of Osawatomie, Kansas; one brother, Rick Skillman and wife Rita of Garnett, Kansas; three sisters, Keeta Berger and husband Donald of Lawrence, Kansas; Paula Cole and husband Charles of Eudora, Kansas; and Pam Alexander and husband Carl of Garnett, Kansas; four grandchildren, Dean Skillman, Olver Skillman, Lillian Skillman, and Thomas Skillman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 P.M., at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett, with burial to follow in the Garnett Cemetery.
