Words cannot describe the sadness I feel at the loss of my Uncle Don. He meant the world to me and I hope that he knew that. My heart is broken. He wasn't just my Uncle, he was like a Father to me-he had a heart of gold and always made me feel special. Just as my cousin David shared his memory of the pocket knife Uncle Don bought for him, I remember the record albums Uncle Don bought me for my 13th birthday on a Thanksgiving visit to him and Aunt Carol. Almost 30 yrs later I still have those albums and will never part with them. He knew my love of Elvis and picked out just the perfect mememtos of him. They are proudly on display. Uncle Don, even though I cannot hear your voice or give you a hug, I know that I have my own Guardian Angel in Heaven who will always look out for me. I love you and miss you. You will live forever in my heart. Aunt Carol, Mom and I will always be here for you-you will never get rid of us! We love you too and know that you and Uncle Don had something very special.
