Dearest Russell, Diane and Janice...
My greatest memories as a girl growing up in Garnett were in my home and yours! Your home was my 2nd home. I will never be able to write how I fell about Mildred. Janice, we have so many wonderful memories of our childhood as sister/friends! I am so sad right now for all of you but very happy you had her and her love for so long. Mildred was a wonderful mother to so many of us. My love, prayers and hugs are with you always. Mildred, thanks for the memories.
Love always,
Vicki

So sorry about your mom and grandma. I had a long visit with her the last week of school when I took the 4th graders out to visit. Your grandpa was also there. She was such a sweet lady, always enjoyed seeing her. She was so proud of her grandkids. May God give you strength during this difficult time.

Dear Family,
Sincere sympathy to you at the loss of your loved one. I will always remember the long chats we enjoyed when Mildred ran the ALL STAR DAIRY COTTAGE. She was a lovely lady. Always so friendly and full of life. Loved to go there just to visit with Mildred. May God comfort you. The Coles

Russell, Diane and Janice, my thoughts are with you. I always enjoyed having the chance to talk a bit with Mildred. I remember the last time I saw her, many years ago, at WalMart in Ottawa. I understand your sorrow - my Mom passed just over 4 months ago. Both Mildred and Pearl had long, wonderful lives. We will miss them, but they have earned their reward. Bless her, and bless each of you.

So sorry to hear about Mildred. Back in 1971 I went to work for Herman and Bernie at East Side Market part time, Mildred "taught me the ropes" and we had so much fun together. Later on whenever I would see her and Russell we would have a good long chat and laughs. She was a good person and I'm so glad I could call her my friend.

Mildred, with a smile, always had time to chat with me whenever I would see her. She was a neighbor just a few houses away from me. I so enjoyed knowing your mother.
