Neil and family,
So sorry to learn of Mary Jane's death, she struggled hard. The Lone Elm community has lost a hard working friend and she will be missed. Her many years of nursing helped so many and the young people she taught through 4-H. The Anderson County Fair will certainly miss her canning entries. My sympathy goes out to each one of you as you carry on, just remember the great memories you have as a family. She was special, and may God Bless You.

Donald and Family,
Mary Jane was a really awesome lady. She always made me feel welcome. She lives on in each and every one of you. She is only a memory away. Her struggle is over now and she is at peace. There are no words to take away the pain, but maybe knowing that others care will help a bit.

Neil and Family,
When I think of all the outstanding people I have known in and around my hometown community, Mary Jane Holloway is one of the greatest. When the Holloway children were small, she entrusted them to me to take to the movies or to take them camping. She was such a tremendous role model for me and so many other kids who grew up knowing her. There is a deep sadness, a crushing ache inside me knowing that such a saint is no longer here. God knew how much our world needed someone of such grace, compassion, intelligence, and style. Now it is His turn. We love you all and will keep you in our prayers.

I live in Florida now but I went to school with Duane and Donald. I came home last July for a class reunion and got to see Mary Jane briefly. Her warm smile and big hug she greeted me with is something I cherish with the news of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the Holloway family. God bless all of you.

Aunt Mary was so very special to each to me, no words can describe what she ment to me.
She had unconditional love and made all of us feel special.
She was the glue on the New side of our family. I will miss her so much.
Mary gave so much to each and everyone of us and we loved her so much. I thank God for all the wonderful memories that I have because of spending time with the whole Holloway family.
Found this poem that seems appropriate:
I miss you now more than ever before
But, I trust that God will open a door
And show me some hope and comfort too.
For you were my life and I loved you so dear
And it breaks my heart to not have you near
But, life goes on and I will too.
I just wish it wouldn't go on without you
All my Love...
Cindy

Neil, Gary, Terri, Donald, Duane, and Larry, your mother was a role model for us all. She was a wonderful 4-H leader, always enthusiastic and full of energy and ideas. She had the best heart of anyone I know, always positive and wanting to help others. It was an honor to know and work with her. She is missed by our communities.

Mary Church Hunt posted a condolence
Neil and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mary Jane will be missed so much. Mary Jane had such a pleasant demeanor and a wonderful smile with a loving heart beyond compare. She was there for me this past fall and helped me make a decision when I was faced with a tough situation in regard to our mother. Without hesitation she stopped making jelly and spent time with me on the phone.
My heart is heavy having lost the mother of my fellow Chur-Holly’s but I must tell you all the video has made me feel like I was a part of lifting her up and enjoying the celebration of her life with you. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Even though I am far from you physically today I feel very close at the same time.
With my heartfelt sympathy,
Mary Church Hunt
