So sorry to hear of the death of Margery. I got to know her through Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild. She was my secret sister in guild one year and I made her a sweatshirt jacket. She wore that jacket just about every time I saw her after that. I was thrilled that she liked it so much. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed. Our earthly loss is heaven's gain. My sympathy to her family. Judy Stukey

Dear family,
Many good memories of Marg working in A C Hosp. caring for newborns. When babies slept, she would do her cross-words. Her hands were never idle.
Even devastating health issues never seemed to slow her down or dim her spirit. A great inspiration to me and hundreds of others. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless us all.

Margery was a good friend of my mother Christine Craig and I knew Margery through the church in Garnett. Margery shared her talent by dressing and repairing two of my childhood dolls, a "Bride doll" and a "Ballet Doll".

I remember Mrs. Hunt teaching me Sunday School in the Garnett Methodist Church in the 1950's. I always loved coming to her classes, and I still have a little booklet of the Lord's Prayer that she gave me. When I was back in Garnett for my dad's funeral I was happy to see her and get a chance to talk with her. A very special lady.

Such a sweet lady that I had the privilege of knowing while her daughter was in high school and again a few years ago when I got to drive us both to Topeka to hear Franklin Graham on the steps of the capitol. She was full of life and fun and it was the trip of a lifetime for us both as we were with thousands of believers, both praying for our state and country, and also singing hymns and patriotic songs.

I am deeply sorry about your loss. I hope you can find comfort in the scripture at Acts 24:15. This is what our God Jehovah promises for us all. And we can look forward to what is written in Psalm 37:9-11 and 29.

Sending my sympathy - I remember your Mom as a very outgoing person - you were good neighbors. Your Mom had a lot of different species of irises & she took great pride in showing them to us when my Mom & I came for short neighborly chats.
