I have not seen Flint for years but I do remember how onery he was in high school. I can still hear his laugh. I have seen some things that his son has put on facebook and my heart is broken for his kids. I have been praying for strength and peace for all of you. Rusty,Jill, Kim, Amy, all of Flint's children and all of your families, We want to extend our sympathy on the loss of Flint. There are no words to try to comfort you. Just know that you are all in our prayers and we are here for you. They say God picks his special ones and I am sure that Flint was needed in heaven to be in charge of Mud Runs or the shop in heaven. Rest in peace my friend. I fondly remember hauling our snare drums in their heavy, bulky cases back and forth from the mobile classroom all the way to the band room inside the school house! The cases were as big and seemed as heavy as ourselves, but we managed even in the rain! I enjoyed watching and being a part of some of your classroom shenanigans. Who knew that if you spun a HE-MAN action figure on a ride cymbal he could fly clear across the room! Such fond memories. I shall cherish them all.
