Aunt Cheryl, Trina and April, I was so saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Uncle Larry. He was such a wonderful man and I will always remember how sweet, soft-spoken and humorous he could be. I wish I could have been with you to celebrate his life. I hope I will be able to visit in the near future. My prayers go to all of you and your families as I know he will be greatly missed. May God hold you up and provide you peace during this difficult time.
Love, Julie

Larry and I became friends when we were 4 years old. It was a great friendship. We were classmates and fishing buddies. He was a really skilled fisherman. He lived only about a half mile from me and we started fishing by catching crawdads and digging fishing worms by the dairy barn. The worms there were and probably are biggest and juiciest that I have ever seen. We hunted, ice skated using frozen cow pies for pucks, played baseball, football, basketball together through our sophomore year at St, John's. We laughed, served Mass, and memorized our Latin together. We never had an argument or a harsh word between us. We played the pin ball machine enthusiastically at Ollie's place in Piqua. We were real friends, pals. I could go on and on but it all can be summed up in a short sentence. He was a really good person, a gentle man, and a terrific companion. I will miss him. Larry will be missed by all who knew him. I loved him.
