I agree with the previous comments that Richard was a special man with a great sense of humor. I worked with him several years at the school and remember him fondly. I would like to express my symphony to his family. He will be missed.

Richard sure will be missed. I worked withed him at school. He always had a big smile and loved the kids. Every time I would see him any where around town he always would have time to stop and hi. Prayers to all the family in your time of lost. Now both your parents are together in Heaven with God.

I loved Richard.. I'm so so sorry. He was a great man and he will be greatly missed.. He was such an amazing husband to Barbara and I know they are happy to be together again with Jesus and God their Creater.. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I'm so sorry for your loss of your dad, he and Barbara were good friends. We went to church together. He was always teasing me about something. Just loved he's sense of humor.

I sure will Richard smile when I seen at Wal-Mart. i enjoyed working with him at the school (back in late 90's-early 2000). I am sorry to hear about your loss.

Uncle Richard was quite a guy. During my childhood, Uncle Richard was always around and always had some goodies. Sadly, time and distance have parted us over the years, but the love never faded. I am thankful that I had the chance to meet and enjoy my time with him. He always had a warm hug to give and remimnded me so much of my grandma. I am blessed to have had 2 wonderful uncles and an aunt, Uncle Richard is one of those wonderful uncles. My heart hurts for his children who lost their mother just about a year ago, now they must grieve again with the loss of their dad. Although time and distance will definitely keep up apart for the time being, there will be a day I will see you again and I will most definitely be ready for one of those hugs. I hope grandma, grandpa and auntie Phyllis were right there waiting with open arms when your journey in this world ended. We will meet again one day Uncle but until then watch over us. Everytime I see a Frito Lay truck I will think of you and all the good times. Rest in Paradise Uncle. I love you.
