She was my kindergarten teacher :) I saw her a few short years ago at a local restaurant...she not only recognized me and remembered my name, but also my brothers' names...Was amazed at that, with as many children as she taught all of those years! She touched many lives, and she won't be forgotten.

So sorry for your loss of sweet Juanita. Always had me laughing the times I had been around her in past several years at family functions/holidays at my brother Melvin's. Always enjoyed her and Wayne when I was a child on the farm. Great people and neighbors, couldn't have asked for better! Rest In Peace sweet lady

Juanita was my 5th grade teacher at Washington grade school. Was located 3m north and 2M east of Blue Mound. She was a great teacher and personally concerned about each student. I talked to her about 3/4 years ago at a family reunion she attended at Mildred, Ks. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Juanita was our neighbor when I was a child. She taught my future father-in-law when she first began teaching, even though she wasn't much older than him. Years later, she was our son's kindergarten teacher. So she has been someone I've known all my life. The thing that comes to mind is that she has always been the same person all those years. Quick, energetic, friendly, straight forward, funny, concerned, self-reliant, out-spoken, but kind. I'm blessed to have known her all these years. God bless those who are mourning her.

I am so sad to learn of Juanita's passing. She was my daughter's kindergarten teacher at Irving Jr High, Garnett. I loved presence of humor. I so enjoyed talking to her when she came to the Extension office for her farm account book. She was a great lady. I will miss her. Prayers for your family.

My most sincere condolences to Mrs. Holderman's family. She was my Kindergarten teacher and truly had a profound impact on my life. We kept in touch over the years with Christmas and Valentine cards and occasionally saw each other. I will always remember her energy and kindness.
