Gary and Gil and Family,
Sandra and I returned tonight from South Dakota and I just learned of your Mom's death. Because of a previous committment, I will not be able to attend the funeral on Saturday. Your Mom and Dad were always so good to me. I know your mom and my mom were friends for a long time. Having Pearl next door to her at the nursing home in Iola the last six months was a special treat for Mom. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time.
