To the Womack Family, Many years have passed since I saw or talked with Johnny. Grew up in Iola, went to St. Johns with John and high school in Iola. Always remember him as a great guy and funny. Knew Doug and the family growing up. The older we get we hear of these kinds of losses and this day is one of them. Even though it's been years the memories will always be there. I was shocked and saddend to hear of Johnny's passing. He was such a sweet man and will always be remembered for how wonderful he was with all the South Street kids after recital giving them endless limo rides. And of course his talent searching for the fair all those years! Heaven has a bright star above now! My prayers to his family and friends.

I am very saddened to hear about Johnny. He always had a funny story to tell and genuinely had a heart of gold, willing to help anyone out however he could by giving them a job. I remember several of the house moving jobs that I helped him out on. I was always impressed with his wide breadth of knowledge on machinery and mechanical engineering. He could talk about trains for hours and it would seem like a few minutes had passed, he would make it so interesting and entertaining. He was a really good man and will be missed by everyone. My condolences to all of his family and relatives.
