Duane was my Mom's (Terry Ward) cousin. This picture shows my son, Riley, who was almost two years old, "helping" Uncle Duane with clean-up at the end of the Ensley Reunion in Colony in May 2006. This has always been one of my favorite pictures! He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. I always liked Duane, thought he was very funny. He liked to eat the morrow off the bones and fat off meat and I couldn't stand the disgusting stuff. He would just laugh and eat more. Wish we could have visited more when we came to Kansas. Sympathy to all of his loved ones. Love,Edna and Joe Pruitt.

Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends as we had met him and Bec thru Geno and LeAnn. Such a warming couple and he was so full of life. I believe everyone was his friend. He will be greatly missed.

I remember the first time we met Duane. We had just moved to Greeley. We went to the cafe to get something to eat and there was Duane with a huge smile welcoming us to the community. We always looked forward to visiting with Duane. We feel fortunate to have gotten the opportunity to become friends with he and Beck. Although we will miss him I'm glad he is free of suffering - and in heaven - probably fishing and painting.

Where do we start to say anything about Duane...He was an awesome fellow. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, was a hard worker a man of his word. He loved to tease our granddaughters calling them Fred and George.. We had many cups of coffee over the years..Rest in Peace buddy. We were all fortunate to have him in our lives.
