Chris, I would have loved to been there but I didn't find out until yesterday. Mom doesn't always remember to let me know things. Yes we are on that journey too. I have so many memories of you Karl & I running amuck in the neighborhood, and once or twice your Mom got really pissed at us and sent me home... HA HA. But your Mom was a great friend to my Mom. Mom was diligent in visiting her and it's really hard on her to loose such a great neighbor and friend. For whatever reason your Mom was enamored with my husband Greg. He always thought of her when we were in town for Halloween and we had to trick or treat her with our Grandsons. Please know that you & john are in our thoughts and prayers. Patti Cady

Oh how your mom will be missed. I am always surprised thinking that you know a person...that is, till you read their obituary. When we read your mom's, it's very evident she was quite accomplished, overcome some obstacles yet humble woman. KDOT was blessed by having her join us the past 2 years at our Holiday Luncheon. She enjoyed visiting, and catching up with the employees and retirees. Sending our thoughts and prayers now and for the days to come.
