Granda Ma You welcomed me into the Perkins family, not just as your grandson's wife, but as another of your grandchildren. Having lost all of my own grandparents by age 25 and two of which I had never known, that meant the world to me.

Katherine was a very wonderful and generous person. I remember several times our family stayed with her at her house as she was always kind enough to let us take over her basement. She loved painting with my grandmother, Martha Sheern. They were both very talented. She was a fixture of Garnett, KS that I will forever have great memories of. With Condolences, Angie Jones

Aunt Katherine was definitely one of my favorite great aunts. I have many fond memories of our visits to her and uncle Roy's house in Carlsbad and in Garnett. Even as a kid, I would try and like any food she prepared. She was a great cook! Obviously, both she and my grandmother Perkins were both extremely talented and artistic. Her paintings are extraordinary. She had a wonderful and full life and she will be missed.

Katherine was such a great friend to both my parents. actually a cousin to mother. She was such a gracious lady. Last time I talked with her was at my dad's funeral. my prayers are with all her children and grandchildren and great grand children.

Dear Family, Our sincere sympathy at the loss of your beloved mother Katherine. Katherine was such an important part of many of our lives. She was a loving member of our PEO Sisterhood. We will all remember has as a talented artist, cook, seamstress, but mostly for her loyal friendship and love over these many, many years. We will miss Katherine, but we know she has moved on to be with her Lord and joins her beloved Roy in their new heavenly home. May God comfort all of you. Sincerely, Orville and LaVerne Cole
