You have our thoughts and prayers, and our deepest sympathy in this time of loss. I only recall having met Jerry once, in Abilene, a few years ago when I found out that his father (Harold) was the 2nd owner of the original two airplanes that our Cessna Flying Club owned. When I went up to meet him, he was gracious, jovial, and full of energy. He was proud of Abilene, and drove me to some of his favorite locations (in exchange I took him on a flight around Abilene which he enjoyed). He also recalled those airplanes, his time living on the airport in Abilene, and was able to provide me with a couple of pictures of those airplanes in Abilene, which I have shared with other like-minded historians of our Flying Club. He will be missed, I'm sure. Greg and Kim Anderson Wichita, Ks (Grandson to Helen Anderson (Connet), who was sibling to Harold. Greg's dad, Lynn, and Jerry would be cousins.)

Jerry came to Village Manor and shared his photos and videos that he had taken on his many travels. Jerry was a true friend to Louis Truly who he visited regularly. Louis also wants to express his thankfulness to have such a caring and dear friend. Jerry was very thoughtful and shared his many emails with me so that I could share them with our residents here. He showed us his crocodile videos from Florida - not sure the female residents appreciated them as much as the beautiful pictures of flower and butterflies that he shared. Thank you for sharing Jerry with us - Jerry will truly be missed. Our best to all of you that loved him as we loved him too!
