I didn't know Mike well. But, what I do know of him is that he had a big heart. He loved animals, and he loved his family. I only had a few visits with him, but I remember at Tristan's baptism, afterward, when we were at the restaurant, I was sitting at the table with him talking, he complimented my necklace. I thanked him, of course. I remember thinking, here's a guy with many strikes against him, and yet he takes the time to give a compliment. Thanks Mike! I know your family will miss you terribly, and that you were loved very much.
