Valli and family, we were so sorry to hear about Jerry. He was such a nice guy and Joe enjoyed working with him over the years. He will be joining the rest of the "Humco" gang and they can pick up where they left off. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Valli and family - My sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. There weren't many guys like Jerry; he was truly one of a kind. Of course my memories of him take me back through our high school years. Jerry had such a unique smile and laugh. That is how I will remember him. I pray God will wrap His loving arms around you to help you with this difficult journey. Peace.

Valli and family,
Jerry was one of the good guys. He loved life. Never did you see him when he wasn't doing some project and it was usually for someone else. He had a smile and laugh that was his trade mark.
He is out of pain. He will always be a big part of everyone that knew him.
RIP friend see you on the other side.

TRIBUTE TO JERRY.... Growing up on the farm in Sutton Valley with his 3 sisters, the Homestead offered plenty of opportunities for hunting, fishing and just having fun. His twin sister Janey and two younger sisters, Lolita and Evelyn, may have been challenging for him at times, but fun times were also had!
He loved the outdoors, and Jerry and Valli’s country home south of Garnett was very well suited for just that. His love for family showed as well, as he and his wife Valli are parents to 5 children and grandparents to 7 grandchildren!
Demolition Derbies, working on old cars and trucks and fishing were some favorite pastimes. Together with his wife and children, he also enjoyed 4 wheelers and whatever else Jerry could make run, like lawn mowers and such!
Jerry also loved dogs, with little Zoey staying by his side and protecting Jerry from anyone that looked to be a potential threat, or at least from Zoey’s point of view!
We Love and miss you very much Jerry!
