Cindy Catterson, age 52, of Chanute, Kansas, died on Thursday, June 25, 2009, in an automobile accident in Labette County. Cinthia Ellen Catterson was born December 27, 1956 at the Allen County Hospital, the daughter of Ella Dollene (Stanley) and Marvin Dale Jackman. Cindy attended elementary school in Moran before graduating from Iola High School. She lived in several local communities before settling in Chanute, Kansas. She was currently enrolled in the nursing program at NCCC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Drybread. She is survived by three children; Luke Smith of Wichita, Kansas; Lacey and Randy Ator of Chanute, Kansas, their father, Stan Smith of Kincaid, Kansas; Cody Catterson and his father, Guy Catterson, both of Chanute; two grandchildren, Edwin and Emily Ator of Chanute; her father, Marvin Jackman of Moran, Kansas; her mother, Dollene Jackman of Humboldt, Kansas; two sisters, Brenda and Jerry Swanson of Elsmore, Kansas; Marlene Humphrey and Steve Rothwall of Lawrence, Kansas; three brothers, Dan and Margaret Jackman of Moran, Kansas; Greg and Terri Jackman of Colony, Kansas; and Jeff and Joanna Jackman of Chanute, Kansas; thirteen nieces and nephews; and ex-husband, Randy Taylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Colony, Kansas. Burial will follow at the LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe, Kansas.
