Marilyn, Terry, Larry, Sharon, Cindy and Jerry, I was saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of times spent at your folks' house when I was in high school and early college. Your Mom was the sweetest person, and always made me feel just like one of her own. Those hamburgers cooked in that cast iron skillet were the best! I know you will miss her terribly. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and hoping that the wonderful memories you have of your Mom will bring you comfort and even some smiles when you face difficult times ahead. I was heartbroken when I heard about your mom. I have so many memories of us working together at Oakhaven. I worked with her from 1984 to 1994 so I heard a lot about all of the grandchildren who by now have there own children. I was so looking forward to coming to the funeral and seeing all of you and give my sweet Ann a farewell but my husband has been in the hospital and my dad was admitted to the VA hospital last night so there is no way that I can make. You all will be in my prayers tonight and tomorrow. I know you will miss her terrible, because I still miss mine. My heart aches for you. May God Bless each and everyone of you and give you comfort and peace in the days and weeks to come.

Ann & I graduated in 1950 from Richmond Rural High School. She was a kind person and enjoyed life and all her classmates at Richmond High School. I stayed at her parents home one school night and they and her brother Ben were gracious. Marlys Gretencord Coughlin

Dear family. We will always treasure our times sitting with Ann and Coonie at Golden Heights. Ann was so faithful and Coonie so happy to have her near. Her chuckles over my singing to the "fried chicken man" were delightful Our times at mass when we'd turn and Ann would smile her beaming smile in welcome. To Marilyn and the entire family. I was so sorry to hear of Ann's death. She was a wonderful person. She and Julianne sang at my parent's wedding. Mom always said they did a beautiful job. I remember how dedicated she was visiting with Coonie in the nursing home. My condolences.

Sad to hear Ann passed away. My earliest memory of Ann was when I was a little girl and I was at a farm sale and Ann sat down by the piano and started playing and singing. Funny how I always remembered that. She was a good woman with a big heart. Please know I am thinking of you all and you are all in my prayers.

Thoughts and prayers for all the family. Very honest obituary. Growing up with Jerry, I spent many nights at the Hermreck house. Ann was a great cook and a 2nd mother to me. The first words out of my mouth when I heard of her passing was that I never heard her say one bad word toward others. She very much loved coming to the hay field to check on progress and often had food or refreshments. Ann's daily trips to see Coonie while he was in Golden Heights, is an amazing example to us about faith and commitment.
