Obituary of Rose Marie Wright
Rose Marie Wright, age 84, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita, Kansas.
She was born August 6, 1930 in Arma, Kansas, the daughter of Jules and Rosalie (Spinato) Mouton. Rose graduated from Pittsburg High School. Rose worked at Cromwell's Pharmacy in Pittsburg. She met Eugene Wright at the roller rink in Pittsburg, and was soon married on October 13, 1949. This union was blessed with three children.
Rose enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, and camping during the summer. Later, she also enjoyed canning the vegetables from their garden. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Rosalie Mouton; son, Jules Wright; and one sister, Mary Baker.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Wright of the home; two daughters, Janet Lang of Girard, Kansas; Karen Burnett and husband William Burnett of Beaverton, Oregon; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Geraldine Burns of Frontenac, Kansas.
A Celebration of Life for Eugene and Rose Wright will be hosted by their family on Friday, January 2, 2015, at their home in Lone Elm, Kansas. (no time was specified)
