I didn't know Les very well. I had the pleasure of working around him a little during past outages. My dad, Bert, worked with him more than I ever did, but luckilly sometimes Les and my dad did work together when I was already working alongside my dad. That's how I got to know that Les was a very kind, dedicated, and caring man. He always had something funny to say or a raffle ticket to try and sell you so you could win a new bike. I learned and thought of him as a very endearing and intelligent man and a heck of a salesman (Although I never won my bike). I don't think I'll soon forget him or the fact that I was lucky enough to get to know him, even for just the little while. I surely never will forget the phrase that reminds me of his big heart, that Les is Always More.

Well, this is something that you never feel that you have to do. At my age you would think it would be him writing this for me. It should never be that the young ones go before the older ones. No words can express the love that I have for Les. His sister, brothers, Teresa and Jerry were my favorite cousins. I went to live with Les and his brothers and sister when my mother passed away and the time that I spent in their home was so very special to me. Les was telling me at the reunion that when Jan, Wonema, Les and I were sitting at the table, the table would dance because we would laugh so hard. Our laughter was like a medicine to me and helped to mend my heart after the loss of my mother. It is unbelievable to me that he is gone. But I know that I will get to see him soon because the rapture is coming soon and we will be together again. Sue, may God bless you and your family. We are praying for you that God will strengthen you at this time of loss. I love you. Love Mary Kathryn (Doe Doe)

Words can not express our sympathy to you. We have worked with Les on several outages and with each outage our respect, love and friend ship grew. Les would speak of his family and their activities often at work. We can honestly say Les was a man who loved God, Sue, his children and a twinkle would appear when speaking of his grandchildren. Les was the type of person that is few and far between. Please know Les is in heaven looking down over his family and friends and we will see him again. You are in our prayers.
