I remember Ann from her days when she went to Dundee Florida for the winters and became good friends with my mother, Nancy Sanborn. it was during that time I would take a week or so and travel to FL to visit my folks and ended up staying in Ann's extra bedroom as there was no space at my folks trailer. every morning I would have toast and coffee with Ann and she would make me a glass of grapefruit juice from the tree that grew in her yard and we did this for several years. I really enjoyed my visits and staying with Ann as she loved hearing news from my family and telling me what was going on in the park. One day, after squeezing some juice from me, Ann would normally throw the grapefruit across the fence for the cows to munch on, she threw one towards the fence and hit the travel sign that was near the fence knocking it over. she didn't know I had seen her do it and was quite surprised I had caught her in the act. what fun that was and we laughed about for years.
To Debby and your sisters I am so sorry to hear about your moms passing. Your mom was so nice to me whenever I came over to stay and I really loved her cooking too!!Take care Love you all Hugs and prayers! Connie(Lankard)Martin
Donna, I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a great lady. I have lots of memories of her when we were growing up and then later in life as neighbors. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sisters at this difficult time. May God make your grief bearable.
