I know this is for offering of condolences but felt compelled to share with all. I extend my condolences to ALL of my family – letting go is a tough thing, but we will get through this difficult time. Dad already knew how much he was loved and that we will miss him dearly. I can only hope that I turn out to be half the man he was. He had a good life and lived it to the fullest. We would like to thank everyone that has provided support in any fashion. I know there are some that only knew of dad / grandpa by stories told by his loved one – so it was very touching to see so many people there – be it the classmates past and present, school staff, co-workers, musicians, family, neighbors and friends. Guess in 94 good years many lives get touched. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Guest Home Estates, Heartland Hospice and folks from the Centerville Community Church –– you are just outstanding. Thank you

Karen, Wanda and Anita: I am so sorry to hear of your loss of your Dad & Grandpa. He was quite a "Guy". Really enjoying getting to see he & Ardella more, lately, out at Guest Home. It was great to see him and visit with him out at the VFW, on Veterans Day.
