Obituary of Fred Henry Boeck
Fred Henry Boeck, age 67, of Pittsburg, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at his home.
He was born on January 26, 1947, at St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Walter J. and Rose B. (Mashall) Boeck. Fred grew up in Mount Olive, Illinois. Fred was united in marriage to Janice East. Two sons were born to this union. They made their home Alton, Illinois. They later divorced. Fred moved to Richmond, Kansas in 1984, where he met and later married Belinda Holloway. They lived outside of Ottawa, Kansas. Fred was an over the road truck driver and Belinda drove also; they worked together for several years before they divorced.
Fred possessed a unique mechanical ability to make things run or work that otherwise shouldn't. Some people refer to this ability as cobbeling. If there was something Fred needed he would find a way to make it work.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rosemary Stapfer.
He is survived by two sons, Fred Michael Boeck of Springfield, Illinois; Joseph Ray Boeck of Carmi, Illinois; one sister, Patricia Calcott and husband Bob of Westphalia, Kansas; two brothers, Art Boeck of Gillespie, Illinois; and William Boeck and wife Viola of Colony, Kansas.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Garnett, Kansas.
