Ron Barnes posted a condolence
Hi, I knew Kenny and his freinds over the last 15 years. I met this loud opinionated man and being an NRA member enjoyed our many debates starting at JC's and continuing at Wally's. As with farmer John, Chuck and now Kenny I am sure the debate continues elsewhere. I knew Kenny the longest and will miss him deeply. Ron

I will always remember the great times Kenny and I had riding our bikes through the countryside. I only knew Kenny for a couple of years, and I knew from the first time we talked he was a great man! I will miss him. Rest in Peace Kenny

My world was shattered this past week with the call from Big Mike about Kenny's parting from this earth. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. Kenny and I first met through the friendship that I had with his brother Mike. Kenny loved to grill for the masses of the fish frys. Kenny became a Bro of mine, just as he was of everyone that knew him. Maybe his beliefs didn't agree with everyone, nor should they, but that was Kenny. Stand up and vote, because we all have a choice, whether or not we agree, we will always be counted, that is what this country was based on. Sorry that Kenny will not be here for the celebration of his political campaign efforts for the new beginning in politics. Wish that we could have had a chance to ride one more time. The world was a better place just knowing you, one of your bro's, Dan

Kenny is proof that time and heart alone can make a friendship regardless of space. Here in the hollers of West Virginia, we knew we had a friend in the wide open spaces of the Midwest from the first when Kenny came into our lives. Among the first outside a VERY small area in West Virginia to hear us, Kenny quickly became an actual friend; albeit a friend with whom we never had the pleasure of hoisting a pint or smoking a shoulder, devourtly wished and sadly regretted. Notwithstanding ever having gotten to raise a physical ruckus with Kenny, we raised a multitude at a distance and the laughter and camraderie was without peer.
Kenny's impeccable sense of the absurd, his ever-present delight in the day-to-day, and his ability to render his life in such a way as to be a friend so real as to be identifable before even the sound of his voice, made him a pearl of great price in our lives.
Friend, we ache not for what you were to us, but for what you cannot, at least in common terms, be to us for some time to come.
Yet you will be there, the lilt in a giggle, the snort in a guffaw, but most importantly the unalloyed determination to do right, to do good, to be, in the end, a source of the light that forever challenges the darkness.
Peace to you, our brother, our friend. Everything is part of it, and you, although untimely and unfairly, are now part of everything; and that we will carry with us, no burden, but an honor and a granting of the goodness you brought to us.

Roger & Beth posted a condolence
We met Kenny through his brother, Mike, our neighbor at the time. Roger worked with Kenny at SOR for the last year and got to know him better. When we needed a helping hand re-roofing our house, he was there for us. Roger always enjoyed riding with Kenny. He will be missed.

Kenny you big lug! I know you wouldn't want any gooshing over you but how can I not do so? The longer I knew you, the more respect I had for you as a decent, honest person. Two qualities I hold very highly. I loved hearing your "farm" stories and loved your sense of humor. Kenny and I always parted each others company with a big hug and an "I love you little(?) bro" and "Love ya sis".
I love you little bro.

Although I didn't know Clyde personally, I have been a regular visitor to his website and found my face full of tears in reading this terrible news.
Clyde has helped me get through the past 8 years and I'm saddened that he won't be here to celebrate the Obama win this Tuesday. I alsways looked forward to Clyde's Corner, and am going to miss his virtual presence in my life!
My sympathies go out to the family and to those who were lucky enough to have known Kenny Clyde in person. He will be missed by more people than you will ever know...

To the family, I know the joy those of us who had the pleasure of calling him our friend, got from knowing Kenny, so I can only imagine what a great thing it was to have him as Son, Brother, Uncle or cousin. I will truly miss him as I know so many will. His querky sayings will not be able to be replaced nor will his space He will always have in my Heart. We Love You Kenny and will miss you. What happen was "JUST WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS"

Dear Kenny,
These are truely the saddest days of my life. All I have left are memories of you. Thankfully they are from the best memories of my life and mine to keep, and no one can take them away from me. I will cherish them until we meet again my Brother.

I cannot find the words to express the sense of loss to your family and friends.
I was exhausted working for the Obama campaign-and now I have a renewed sense of cause and energy. Every door I knock on now, and every phone call I make-I think of you.

Kenny- I might not be your closest friend, but because of who YOU are, I feel like we were very close! You always made me feel that way! You were the guy who always responded to my cheesy emails and ALWAYS made me feel special, no matter how silly I am! YOU are so special and there will never be anyone like you! I will miss you! Rest in peace!

Linda, Mike & curt,
We were so sorry to hear about Kenny! We know this is a tremendous loss. It has to be very hard to lose your baby brother. Rich always considered Kenny a friend. I knew him better in later years & always enjoyed him.

It was unfortunately too long since the last time I was able to raise a pint and the times were unfortunately too few times that I did.
I will remember them all.

I am sorry I did not get to know Kenneth. I was unaware that he lived in Garnett, but feel sure he lived here after I had moved away for a year and a half. I also met him, his brothers and father at the Bolles reunion in KC. Spent some time with Clyde in researching our family ties in the geneology. So saddened by his death and deep condolences to his family. Jean Brown

Kenny, that's how I always rememered you. You were one of my many cousins on my dad's and your mom's side. I will always remember the Short reunions in Sioux Falls, SD and all the times we came to your house in Leeds. It's been way to long for all of us Shorts not to get together, but we all be together again someday. My prayers go out to your family and friends. Your cousin, Delia a.k.a Pickle
