I just heard about George's passing. George has been in our office many times and we grew very fond of him. I can't believe I won't see his ornery smile anymore. God's peace to all of you.

To Bud's family who was pretty much my second family. Thanks for feeling sorry for me when everyone else took advantage of my not so great card skills down at Karen and Oliver's house. Everything I know about poker I learned from you - which wasn't much but not your fault I am am not good at the whole learning thing. There were a lot of good memories at Grandma's and Meliza's house. It's not going to be the same not having you down there giving Rick a hard time about his bad poker face and taking all his money. You will so greatly be missed but will continue to be loved and remember by all. Rock Chalk!

Bud, you were a sweet fun loving man, even if you did "tease Rick alot". It was fun spending time with you and the "wild bunch" at the NCAA basketbal tournments. We all had a good time together yelling for the Jayhawks. Thanks Bud for all the good memories. We will miss you.

Bud, thanks for the days we spent in the outdoors.
Daryll,"mom will you make rick stop picking on me". Dude did you play high school football?

When I was a kid I thought Dad was the best fisherman hunter & trapper in the world. Thanks for not letting me drown in the Garnett Lake. I remember floating on his back in the Garnett swimming pool, seemed like he could hold his breath forever. As a teenager he tolerated us, fixed our cars during the week so we could go tear them up on the weekends. As I got older and got married he was there for advise and support and a job too. As everybody knows he knew everything and was the best driver on the planet <Well at least he thought so>.
Miss you and Love you
Ronald

Gordon Tush posted a condolence
George Martin Tush III sounds sort of Reagal. He was in a way,but to the gang referred to by Joyce he was Bud (Bubba at times)to us and many others. Regardless, he was a true bud to "almost" everyone he ever met.
He had many interests including, hunting, fishing, traping, football, baseball, his four sons, people in general, cards (gambling preferred)and women (second only to KU basketball).
He was a stranger to none he met. I can remember twiddling my thumbs while he struck up a lenthy conversation with some stranger.
I was fortunate in having Bud's "guidance" as I grew up, which was mostly wrong. As Dikens would say: "It was the Best of Times and the Worst of Times."
He will be missed by all.

Bud,
You were a great big brother. My only complaint is that all the stunts you pulled on Rick, he thought he needed to pass on! You were always there to help whenever Oliver and I needed it. You were a very devoted son and father. Mom was lucky to have a son like you. Family gathering will not be the same. We will definitely miss you around the card table. We love you and miss you already. Karen and Oliver

daryll must have had another brother i didn't know! Bud was always a pain in the butt! eating all the heels off the home made bread, stealing all the cinnamon rolls and fried mush.. i know we had our differences (me right him wrong) but he always started all the discussions( i leave out the word argument for you mom) he was fun loving - the fun being picking on poor little ole me. Home just won't be
the same. You were a great son to our mother which always so impressed me. i'll miss you brother bud

Shirley, Bud, Gordon, Cliff, Ebby Tush, and I were "The GANG". We did everything together, when we were growing up. We hardly knew whose home was really our home. Whenever we got hungry, we ate wherever we were at the time. It was wonderful growing up together in those days. Great memories!

Brother George always saw the good in other people. He was always, it seems in a good mood. I wish I could have been around him more often. I remember him coming early in the morning and taking me quail hunting around Welda. He was a great big brother. I will miss him always.
