Mary Lou was a heck of a lady!! She had more spunk, more love to give, and more spirit than I have ever seen. She touched the lives of me and my boys deeply. I will miss her compassion, her sense of humor, and her general love of life and family. God Bless you Mary Lou......Love and prayers to all

Wiederholt family, Your Mom was a special lady. She and your Dad always made us feel welcome when we would stop by their house to visit with Mike and Phyllis during holidays. Mike and I had some really good visits with her thru the years. She told us about the old days when her family and Mike's grandparents(Pete & Mae Rues)enjoyed family gatherings. She also told us that she wrote to her cousin Cutter Rues while he was in WW2. That meant a lot to us. Love and prayers, Mike and Judy

We will never forget the times on the deck visiting with both of your parents and for their guidance and love during some seemingly difficult times of our own. They cared so much for their family and extended family. They will be missed here, but they are together again.

I went to PSU with Theresa and reconnected working in Olathe. When Mary Lou was at Villa St. Francis, we visited often and she loved talking about her family. She was a strong woman who obviously passed it on to her family. My prayers are with your family.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss....my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My first memories of Mary Lou are of a night back in the seventies when she fried up frog legs for several of us. That was my first experience eating frog legs. I know that you all have many memories of your mother/grandmother...cherish them.

What a Great Lady, We will miss her dearly! Our thoughts and prayers are with her and the family.
I remember the childhood memories out on the farm. We always had fun visiting the Wiederholts.
Susan and I would stop from time to time and visit Aunt Mary Lou at her house and talk about old relatives and what they were like. She was something special in every way. She always talked about her children, and what they were up to and about the grandchildren. She was very proud of all of them.

I'll never forget Mary Lou's voice and candid way of talking. She was a solid friend to our whole family, and especially for my mom Ruth. They talked on the phone so often when they were busy raising their kids, and laughed and shared so much always, good and bad. My entire life, when my Mom says "I talked to Mary Lou", you can bet it's the introduction of a good story or a wise bit of insight from two great minds. I'm thinking of all you Wiederholts with love and affection. Take care. -Patty
