So sorry to hear about the death of your mom, Bonnie. We know you will miss her. Now the Era of our parents is gone. Your mom is the last of the Farley group. As you know my dad passed in Feb. of this year. We have been going through pictures from dad's house. I came across the pictures of the bridal shower your mom and you girls had for me. Also after the shower there was your dad trying to hug me and make me blush. You know that has been 41 years ago? Great picture of your mom. That's how I remember her, with that great big smile. I know the memorial service will be tough. I will be thinking about you all. Jim and I are really scurrying to get our dad's house ready for an Open House this weekend.

Bonnie and Bill were parents number 2 for me, they always were and always will be in my heart. You couln't ask for better second parents, friends or neighbors.
I'm sorry that I can't be with you all tomorrow, but I hope you know that I will be there with you in thoughts, sorrow and pain. If there is one consolation, that I see today and that is that you all got to enjoy her through out many years. We seem to forget this at this time, but just remember all your good times, times alone with Mom, Dad, Butch and all the family and it will come to you.

You will be missed. I still have the willow tree angel sitting on my dresser you gave me for graduation from nursing school. I will remeber you everytime I look at it..thank you for you kind words in my card and for believing in me. I wish I could have been there today.

many thoughts go through my head as i think of bonnie and the times our families spent in merriam. i am very saddened by your mothers passing as death has taken all of our parents. i have to be a witness in a trial on the 5th and will not be able to attend but i want all of you to know that my thoughts and sorrow will be with you.
i used to go through welda on my way back and forth to tulsa but had nowhere to park the truck and no way to reach you but i always though of you guys (and gals) as i went through town.
again i am sorry to hear of your loss and sorry that i can't be with you on that day.

Well Mama, it's been a month tomorrow and it's not getting any easier yet. I need your help!! If I had only listened to what you were trying to tell me that day. You were trying to tell me good bye. And as usual, I wouldn't listen!! I thought I could pull you through one more time. But God had different plans for you I guess. If only, .... I would have told you that you were the greatest Mother that anyone could ever ask for. And my best friend. I feel lost without you here. You were such a beautiful person. You always thought of everyone else first before yourself. I can only hope that I can someday live up to the kind of woman that you were and still are in my eyes. Today is sister's 60th birthday Mama. You were to be here for her. I know that she is being strong for me. But she misses you so much. We all do!! I worry about her trying to keep it all inside. It was 3 months last Tuesday. It's NOT getting better! For any of us. I look at this picture of you and see your beautiful smile.Did you ever realize what a wonderful person you were? I think you left because you thought that I was okay with it. I wasn't! I know that you missed Daddy & Butchie, but I still wanted you to fight and stay here with us. There were so many things left to say to you.How will we make it through the holidays without you? It will never be the same again.

As I sit here tonight I wonder if you can hear me, if you can feel the pain I still have in my heart because you are not here with us. Christmas is next week, the house will be full of family. But nothing will be the same. It never will be again. You were the light that brightened all of our holidays! We will take you down and place you with brother. You have gone on to your final resting place. I know that you are happy again. You are back in good health.You have no more worries. And that your love will always be with each of us. You live so deep in our hearts. We will never get over your loss. But I hope you will be proud of how we go from this day forward. We cherish your memory. We missed your smile at Christmas. And hearing your laughter! We placed you under the swing. Sister thought that was the perfect place since you & Aunt Betty had spent so much time there. Over the holidays there were alot of tears for you, but we also had laughter. We needed to do that for you and we did. We knew what you would have been saying to us! Get up and get on with it! But you were missed!! It just wasn't the same without you! We love you and carry you within our hearts everyday!

Well today is our first Mothers Day without you Mom. And it has been a hard one. I spent the day with Aunt Betty. That helped as she is as close to you as I can get. Christmas has come and gone Mom. Our 2nd one without your beautiful light to shine on us. We did have a white Christmas. You would have liked that. Those that could make it thru the weather came, and those who could not, were here in spirit, just like you were. The house was full of laughter and joy. But we missed you!! We did have Aunt Betty with us this year for both days. That was a treat for us. But sad for her as she did not get to spend it with her kids.
You are missed by all of us Mom. Sister and I hold tight to the thoughts that one day we will all be together again as a family. You prepare our place for us and we will celebrate. But there are things left to do here for the both of us. So please hold us close in your heart, as we do you, and pave the way so when it is our time to meet again our journey will be a good one. Mama, our Aunt Betty is not doing well at all. They are moving her to the nursing home tomorrow in Ottawa. If you are really up there will you please keep watch out over her. She is afraid of what is ahead for her. She is ready to give up. I sure wish you were here to help her. She misses you so much. I feel like I am losing you all over again! If it is to be her time then I will try my best to understand. But right now we just need her to fight hard like you always did. Any sign from you would sure be appreciated that we know she is going to be okay. Either here with us or there with you. I trust in God's decision and wisdom. Just please help me to be strong for her. Again, I am not ready to send her to you.

I missed your big birthday! A big 80. It's hard to imagine you being that age Mom. You were always so young looking and young at heart! You were not forgotten on that day! We went to your favorite place and you kept us going. I talked to you alot, and you showed me that you are still here with me.
Hope you like your house. I think you would approve. We all worked very hard on it. But it was done with so much love and laughter!!
2 years have gone by so quickly. Maybe thats a good thing. I can just see you much sooner!!
