Tina Everett posted a condolence
In memory of Aunt Betty,
I will always remember her infectious smile and laugh and she gave the BEST hugs. I loved going over to her house growing up because she always made the yummiest desserts. If you wanted a good game of cards, Aunt Betty and Uncle Bob's house was the best place to go. She will be truly missed.

I picked up Mom's email yesterday regarding Aunt Betty's passing. It brought tears to my eyes yesterday and again as I type this short note.
Call it a strange coincidence or some other act of God, but I was just sharing a story about Aunt Betty with my children yesterday morning. Garrison said that he couldn't remember which Great Aunt she was and I told him that I would introduce him to her again next time we were together. We learned a couple of hours later that she had died.
My fondest memory of Aunt Betty was a family reunion we had 35-40 years ago. I was very young and had gotten hurt outside playing with my cousins - I couldn't find my mother (Anthonette) - so Aunt Betty was happy to "pinch hit" and hold me until I quit crying and resume play.
I will miss her.

My memories of Aunt Betty include going to their house in the country and running around. Uncle Bob's Black Truck and playing Rummy with both of them. She always had time to talk to me and give me a hard time when I was ornery! May Aunt Betty rest in peace with Uncle Bob.

Nick,
Sorry to hear about your Mother's death. She was such a sweet lady. When Frank and I moved to Scipio, your Grandma Clara and Florence Mersman and your Mom showed up welcoming us to the community. God bless now Ralph and Florence and Bob and Betty can go out and dance every night!!

To Nick and Lynette:
I just read in the paper last night that your Mom passed away. I'm sorry that I didn't get to attend her service.
Bob and Betty were always very nice to me and I enjoyed knowing them; you had wonderful parents.
Nick, I think of you often. Hopefully you and Lynette are both well. Take care of yourselves.
Love,
Irene Kennard
