Dorothy M. Beauchamp, age 93, of Garnett, Kansas, went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. She was born on January 18, 1915, in Williamsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Samuel Rome Harrington and Mary Helen (Gossett) Harrington. She lived most of her life in Garnett, Kansas. Dorothy married Horace Lee Beauchamp on October 31, 1934, at Garnett, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1985. Dorothy then married Cedric Louk on July 8, 1995, at Garnett, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1998. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Sunset Flower and Garden Club. She loved to raise flowers, play cards and bird watch. She is survived by her son, Gene Beauchamp and his wife Sheena of Springfield, Missouri; grandson David Beauchamp and his wife Susan of Arlington, Texas; granddaughter Michelle Terrell and husband Tim of Bolivar, Missouri; step grandchildren: Grant Irving, Nolan Irving; Michelle Hersh, Mike Butel, Melinda Holloran, Jodi Cobbs, and Justin Cobbs. Great-grandchildren Tyler Terrell and Jaelyn Terrell, and Chris Lowe; two stepdaughters Carole Gibb and her husband Max of Garnett, Kansas; Phyllis Cobbs and her husband Eyman of Garnett, Kansas; two brothers, Bob Harrington and wife Ruby of Wichita, Kansas and Frank Harrington of Hutchinson, Kansas; one sister, Florence Cade and husband Ron of Ottawa, Kansas, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
