I wanted to pass on my thoughts and prayers to Robert's family. I have many great memories of Robert from my childhood. I will always be greatful for having Ruth and Robert in my life.
May the soul of Robert Luedke rest in peace and let the perpetual light shine upon him. Father in Heaven please comfort the friends and family of Uncle Robert, let them feel you love and peace. amen

Uncle Robert was full of funny stories and his gift of laughter was contagious. I remember his work at the Kansas City Star and the beautiful gardens he and Aunt Ruth grew! My thoughts and prayers are with the families.

Robert was a great guy - he was quick with a smile and a joke - in spite of the fact that his Kansas City Star paper route must have always had him a little short of sleep.
My girls looked at him as an extra Grandpa. I loved to see him in his recliner with the girls snuggled in so he could read them the funnies.
He was great with them and always had a kind word for me when I picked them up. He will be missed.
