Barbara E. Moore, age 83, of Kincaid, Kansas, died Monday, December 24, 2007 at her home in Kincaid. She was born December 3, 1924, in rural Bronson, Kansas, the daughter of George and Nancy Mae (Colgin) Gillaspie. She grew up southeast of Bayard, Kansas. Barbara graduated from Mildred High School in 1942. Barbara married Rollin G. Moore on May 9, 1942, in Nevada, Missouri. The couple moved to California in 1943, returning in 1946 to the Moore family farm, southwest of Kincaid, where Barbara resided until her death. She enjoyed reading and cooking Sunday family dinners. Her grandchildren were a great source of joy. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Covenant of Faith Christian Center. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin G. Moore on December 19, 1979; two sons, Rollin Russell Moore and Ray Alan Moore; her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Ann Stephens and husband Eugene of Kincaid, Kansas; Sheral Louise Nichols of Kansas City, Kansas; one son, Rickey Dean Moore and wife Cheryl of Kincaid, Kansas; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:30 at Kincaid-Selma United Methodist Church, 110 N. Preston, Kincaid with Pastor Phil Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Mildred, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Moran, Kansas.
