Florence Frances (Sobba) Peine was born April 18, 1919 to Joseph and Mary (Rossman) Sobba in Garnett, Kansas. She passed away December 21, 2007 at Richmond Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Frank J. Peine on February 27, 1946. One daughter, Mary Jo was born to this union. They farmed for 43 years south of Waverly. She raised chickens, loved tending to her big vegetable gardens and flower gardens. For many years she helped with the livestock, milking cows and helping out with the crops. She also enjoyed fishing and going for Sunday drives in the country. She is survived by her husband Frank, of Princeton, Kansas, her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and Jim Stone of Princeton, Kansas, one granddaughter, Glenda J. Sak of Princeton, Kansas, two great grand children, three step grand daughters, two step great grand children, a sister Elizabeth ONeil, several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Sobba, four brothers, Robert, Louis, Joseph, and Claren Sobba, two sisters, Margaret Wolken and Ethel Mae Sobba. She will be missed dearly.
