My first memory of June was right after my grandmother passed away. My mom, aunt, sister and myself were cleaning my grandparents house and she stopped by to visit. She was so kind and caring, the perfect person to talk to during such a terrible time. She made me feel so comfortable and loved. But that was just her way. She was an amazing person, a kind of substitue grandmother. June will be missed by me and my family but we all know she is now in a better place. My only hope is that she knew how much she meant to us, she was a wonderful woman who, at the very least, deserved to know how much she was loved.
