Mrs. Anderson was one of the best teachers I had at Garnett High School! She was so kind and understanding. She helped me make a coat when I was a senior...I was her 'helper' that year. I thank you for sharing the video tribute, for I could not help but smile throughout. She is smiling upon us now...she is a blessed soul, for sure! My prayers are with her family as they go on with her in their thoughts and memories. She has touched so many in such a positive manner...including me. :)

I had Mrs. Anderson for Home Ec. and she worked with a lot of patience to get us through our sewing projects. I'm sure she wondered every day how I missed the sewing gene my mom has! She was a gracious woman and a blessing to many kids who she taught.

It was not only a privilege to have had Mary as a teacher, but our family was blessed to have had her as a neighbor for many years. I always enjoyed watching her and listening to her advice on caring for her rose bushes; that she devoted so much time on. We would always take her banana bread and homemade apple butter, which would always bring a smile to her face. Abbie will always have fond memories of Mary, their visits, and her first â€œpaying jobâ€� taking out her trash every week. We pray that her family will cherish and hold all their memories of a VERY special lady close their heart. Mary may you Rest in Peace!
