Where do i start, Dad was a hard worker always doing something on the farm, I remember we had a Holstein bull with a ring in his nose that got out one afternoon, I ran to the hayloft and looked out the window and watched Dad walk up to the bull grap that ring gave it a twist and bull followed dad back into the pen, Brother Art was killed by a team of horses that him and i believe Ed was driving down a gravel road north of Greeley they was scared from a motorcycle, Dad wouldn't let have a horse, I finally got his approval when i turned 18, After awhile i had 6 total, But when i bought the 1st one he watch me like a hawk, for a week he wasn't far away, i quess watching over me. When the mare had a colt his love for horses came back, Dad was with me in barn when he was born, i remember tears running down dads check. he had a team of pulling horses once, this colt's color was just like theirs, his body was a light brown with blonde mane and tail & 4 blonde socks, dad called him CAP. sorry lost for words I'm sure there's lots of stories that i could tell you, but not right now.
