We wish to convey our condolences to Pat’s family and friends, as he will be missed.
I can remember helping Pat catch a calf across the street from me. After we convinced the calf to go into the pin, Pat picked up the calf and put it in his truck. I was impressed! I also knew Pat from Lybarger Oil, while I worked in the warehouse. May the Lord reward Pat for his kindness and friendship. We will miss him driving by checking his cattle. Also I remember when he would chat with me on the road as I took an evening walk. God Bless you Pat, may the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you: May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Although I have not seen Pat for years, I do run into his brother Mike because we both live in Baldwin. As a child, the Callahan's lived up the road from the Bowen's. Pat and my brother Tom would play sports a lot and if I was lucky they would allow me to play football with them. Those were great days growing up with the Callahans. Pat will now get to meet his beautiful daughter once again. Pat will be greatly missed.

Pat was a very good friend and classmate. I will never forget all the times we had in high school and when he would stop for some home made brew. He will have fun in heaven with all the family playing cards. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

We are so sad to lose our friend and 1968 classmate. Pat was a friend to all. His caring heart, his laughter and that ornery twinkle in his eyes will be missed.
Dwight remembers sledding and hot chocolate, trips to KC to deliver hay and Pat's particular way of stacking that hay.
Pat was in our wedding and he made sure that both the rehearsal and wedding day were fun!
The memories are many and we will keep the good times with Pat in our hearts always. Our thoughts are with the Callahan family.

I so enjoyed working with Pat over the last 5 years. Pat's company hauled bunches of loads for our company-Hartland Renewable Fuels (formerly Bosselman Energy). Our relationship went far beyond just business. Pat often lifted me up when things were 'crazy' here at work. I will really miss our conversations! A fond memory is my visit to Pat's farm a couple years ago. I know how much he enjoyed working with his cattle. Pat will be sorely missed by all of us. I have added Pat to the Nebraska Knights of Columbus prayer line for the repose of his soul. Rest in Christ Pat! Randy

We'll miss Pat and his enlightenment on so many subjects. : ) I treasured the opportunity to catch up with Pat, on life in general. He was a great friend and always ready to help. Everytime I visited with him, he always ask about my children. They've even worked for him from time to time. He nicknamed my daughter the "wood-chucker" after an afternoon of stacking wood. Though I had moved out of Garnett a couple of years ago, I had planned on helping Pat during the upcoming haying season. I am sad that I won't have that opportunity to work with him. May God Bless and watch over the Callahan family in the days to come.

Growing up across the road from Pat, I have lots of good memories of playing marathon Monopoly games, riding their horse Chico with 3 kids on his back, Kick-the-Can, taking the ladder away from the "boys only" treehouse. On and on!! The last time we got to reminisce and laugh about those days was at my dad's funeral in 2004.

There are so many memories. In some ways, Pat was like a big brother more than a cousin. ha! He always asked at family reunions, who is that person, who are they related too. I always told him, well they are related to us, guess which one they belong too! I know that Pat was always willing to help out when asked. He has a great sense of humor, sometime a sly sense of humor. I will miss the running commentaries that we used to have at family reunions. Phyllis, Mike, Joyce, Ronnie and neices & nephews...he will be missed by you, but he gets to see his daughter & Marcia Piene in Heaven...along with his dad & grandparents. Uncle Larry is probably saying...what are you doing here, have a seat join the game on who is going to win the game.
