What a great woman God received into Heaven. Her presence will be missed at church. To the family, keep all those memories close to you. If you keep your eyes open and listen closely, you will probably see & hear her voice in many things you do.
It was so nice seeing all the caring faces to show their love for my grandma. Our hearts are missing a giant piece without her with us. We have a lot of wonderful memories of her, never a bad memory! i love her with all my heart and will miss her every day!!!!!!!!!!

I, too have wonderful memories of Doris and Charlie and all of the kids. We were at their house, as much as our own. My sympathies are with the family.Your mom was a beautiful, hard working lady!
Doris and her family were our back door neighbors on the farm near Harris. I have too many memories of her to name. (they were all good and happy) She worked so hard in the dairy barn and keeping up with the family. But she always did it with a smile and a cup of coffee for my mom and dad! Say hi to them, Doris, when you get to heaven! Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Will always remember the great times quilting together. Oh, how we will miss greeting Doris as we walked past the Sunday School Class on Sunday mornings. She was always in the same chair next to the door with that beautiful big smile. We extend our sincere sympathy to all of you. God is wrapping Doris in an "exquisite quilt" He made just for her.
What a shock to hear of Doris' death. She was at quilt guild last Thursday morning looking just as chipper as ever. I dearly loved her and her quiet ways. When you least expected it, she would say something that would crack you up. All of us at Pieces and Patches Quilt Guild have lost a very dear friend and will truly miss her. Judy Stukey
Karen and family, I was so sorry to hear about Doris. She was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. I always liked visiting with her and hearing her chuckle when i would tell her something silly the kids had done. Thanks for sharing your mother with us. We will all miss her so much.
Doris was in my first watercolor class at the annex. She was very talented and a great asset to my class with the many children. I'll miss her spirit and smile.

Doris was so nice to be around at quilt club meetings. She frequently would give me a smile when I did something silly. I got a good smile out of her last Thursday at club meeting. My sympathies.
Doris was a lovely woman. We had fun with EHU activities and so many laughs. The bus trips and quilt classes too. Doris was very talented. I will miss her.
Karen and Rhonda and families. I am so sorry to hear of your mamas passing. So so many memories or my childhood with your family at your farm at Harris. I loved her. Now her and Grandma Carter will see each other soon. You know how wonderful friends they were.
Doris was a great neighbor, she lived behind us in Garnett and would always come over while I was working on my flowers or garden and tell me stories of her farm life. She will be missed, God Bless!
