Even the world's greatest orators would not have the words of praise for a life growing up with a great man such as Marvin. As his sister, I certainly am without words to even begin to describe what a special person Marvin was. When God created Marvin, it made God's world so much better. He was of priceless quality with a Christ-like personality that all are to strive for. He was a patient, kind, agreeable, gentle, intelligent and talented dear man, which behind a wonderful smile, was a twinkle of a sense of humor. I love, love him so very much and his absence has left me with a broken heart. All his life, he left love everywhere and in many facets. I am comforted to know he is reunited with his Maker and family who have gone before. I was blessed to have Marvin in my life...I will miss you, dear brother.

Marvin so many memories.. He was like the Dad that I never had I can't ever rememebr seeing him cross & if you had a problem he would say let's set & talk about it and when we got done talking about it..It was not a problem anymore it was just a memory,He never judged you he just loved you with that big ole heart of his.I believe he was the most kind hearted man I have ever meet.He always had his stories & I learned a lot about where he came from and life in Oklahoma I never got tired of hearing about his past,he said your past is what make you who you are today and there is a lot of truth in that statement
I thank God for blessing me with the chance to get to know Marvin and for that I will always be grateful and I will keep all my memories close to my heart.. May God bless each and every family member as they go forward in life.

Grandpa,
You were the greatest man I have ever had the honor of knowing and the privilege of being a grandson of. I have learned from you that family, dedication, hardwork, and passion are the keys to happiness. But most importantly that judging a book by it's cover isn't appreciated. You were loved by many.
I remember one thanksgiving when I shared to the family at Aunt Cynthia's and Uncle Gene's that I was going back to school to study Construction Management the look in your eye and the words of Grandma about it being a family trait will always be with me. I will also always remember the times I shared with you on your farm gathering the cows for milking and then soon after walking out to the barn to feed the calfs. I love you so much and will always have a place in my heart just for you. Thank you for all that you have taught me through the last 30 years as I know that God has gained a great angel.
