My amazing Aunt Dorothy had nine children and still opened her home and her heart to a "city girl" from California for a number of summers. I have so many fond memories of those summers, and yes, fried chicken is one of them! Love to my cousins and their family. I wish I could have been there.
Much love,
Jan

I have fond memories of Dorothy. She was a wonderful "behind-the-scenes" worker at St. Teressa's and a pillar of the Church. My sympathy to her big family.

Sincere sympathy to all the Dieker family. Dorothy played the organ when Fred and I married. I am still using the ceramic cannister set she gave us for a wedding gift as well as the cowboy boot vase and bank she made for Fred many years ago. She and Larry and Fr. Jim brought Tena out to Deerfield for visits when we lived in western KS and we greatly appreciated that. My boys loved her bubble bread. She was a special person.

To the Dieker kids I knew in high school: I am better to have met your mother. I remember your mother as being warm and strong, gentle and firm, like a farming mother is. My love to you all while you go through this tough time.
