Coach and family...thinking of you at this time of loss. Mabel was a dear lady!! I still remember the two of you coming out to our house near Mont Ida to visit with Mom and Dad, and how I enjoyed listening in. She will be greatly missed by so many who cared about you both.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We hope you will find comfort knowing others care. Your mother will be with you in spirit and in heart-forever. There are some things that never, ever leave us - A mother's love is one of them. We remember meeting both of your parents back in the Edwards AFB days and loved hearing from you all of the fishing stories and "others". With deepest sympathy - Bill & Suzie

To family, My sincere condolences. There is no greater pain
than the death of a loved one. Sometimes it seems almost more than a person can
bear. Jehovah God helps us with this in His word. He promises us that He will
put a stop to all sickness and death will be no more (REV 21;3.4) Jehovah also
shows His love for us through the ransom sacrifice of His beloved son Jesus
Christ. What a wonderful gift to be given ! Then the hope of seeing one's loved
ones again on this earth transformed in a paradise as it was Jehovah's will when
He created Adam & Eve . (Genesis 1:26,27; John 5: 28,29; Psalms
37:11,22,29). If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at:

Sincerely.

Dear Coach, Ray, Duane & families, What a wonderful lady! Coach, you were certainly blessed by God to
have Mabel as your wife - and fishing buddy. Will never forget the kindnesses you both extended to a young beginning teacher and a newly married young couple. You were such wonderful role models, and now heaven is far the richer for having a new "angel." May God wrap His loving arms around all of you and "give you His Peace."

Mary and I were sorry to hear of Mabel's passing. We have fond memories of her from our time in Garnett. Our daughters still talk about how nice she was to them. We really appreciate the help we received from Ray and Mabel, as we were a young couple just out of college, with a young family, and with me needing a role model as a young coach, and also needing guidance in our marriage and raising our children. God blessed you when He gave you Mabel as a wife and mother, may He also give you peace and comfort now as you recover from your loss.

We were recent arrivals to this area in the 1990s when JoeAnn volunteered at the thrift shop in Garnett. She met and worked with Mabel there and they became good friends. After Mabel left the shop we only saw the two of you on occasion out in the community where a special greeting always awaited us. The love and partnership between the two of you was evident and very heartwarming. One can imagine that the Good Lord makes preparations for celebration to welcome those into Heaven. We believe that he made extraordinary preparations to welcome this exceptional lady who did more for the community than anyone we know. Coach Ray, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during ths difficult time. May God bless you and comfort you.
