We were saddened to hear of the passing of Earl. On May 31, 1947, the Meyers and Yoder families met for the first time. The occasion was the births of your Sheryl and our Karen. The setting was the maternity ward in the upstairs of Dr. White's hospital in Garnett, KS. Although we haven't been in touch very often in later years, we still have fond memories of those earlier years when our families got together once-in-awhile.
