Dear Verda Jean and Family, I was sorry to learn of the loss of your Mother. She was always such a happy, smiling, and friendly lady. When we were just kids, she picked us up and drove us to school for several years when she taught in Garnett, and she was always so kind and sweet to us. Forever after I have always been happy to see her, for she always remembered us and was so just as sweet and kind as ever. She was a very special lady, and I loved watching the video tribute to her. She was so very proud of her family, and very rightly so. She will be missed with her gentle ways and good spirit, but she will be always be present in your hearts. A friend, JoAnne (Katzer) Platt
