In the very few times that I had the pleasure of being around Lila in Indiana, I knew she was a very special lady - a very special lady who raised a loving and beautiful family. We are so blessed to have Darla working at IU Health Arnett. Darla has inherited many of Lila's terrific qualities. I know Lila was so proud of Darla and her job at the hospital. And I feel so blessed to have gotten to know the two of them - even if only for a brief time. Praying for comfort and strength for all of you!
I worked with Lila at Golden Heights. I enjoyed visiting with her while we worked in the kitchen. She was the nicest and kindness lady.I know she loved her family so much and talked about you all the time. God be with you all.
Our heart-felt prayers and thoughs are with all of Lila's family. We wish you the peace that Lila now has. She had such a peaceful and kind heart that everyone was drawn to her. She will be missed but her memory will warm hearts for many years to come.
I am so sorry to hear about Lila's passing. I do remember at our family reunions when I was younger she was always so nice and talked to each of us and never said anything unkind about anyone! I know she will be missed by all her family. Prayers and hugs to all of my cousins.

Dear Children: I really do not know where to begin to tell you how sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful lady, and such a special friend to me. Lila and I were in the hospital with Chery and Jennifer and we developed a special friendship that has lasted throughout the last 44 years. I knew she was fighting a battle but always in back of mind thought that she would and should win. I know that she loved her children very deeply and always talked of you when we were together.
