Dear Janice, Darrel, Tanya and all your family, This can only be part of the over all plan we must trust in. Your emotions, feelings and memories will continue to get softer and more dear. I pray for that, and remember Joy in all happiness. For all of you my deepest sympathy and love. Always your friend. Julie.

I am both shocked and saddened to learn of Joy's passing. She was truly a very nice person and and always had a smile. I always enjoyed working with her. Each time I would walk into the Civil Division I would always be met with Joy's voice and a very distinct "Hi Dave!" The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has lost another wonderful soul.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joy's family. Joy was always fun to be with. I enjoyed going to school with her and working with her at the Cherry Blossom cafe. She was fun to go the movies with and then we would drive around Moran and Iola seeing what excitement we could find.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I never knew Joy personally, only through the wonderful stories and moments shared by her niece Stephanie. The world will miss the life she shared while she was here, but God has provided you with another star in the heavens to guide you on your way. May the comfort of God be with you and may the memories of Joy give you peace.

Joy was in my class at Marmaton Valley H.S. She was always cheerful and willing to lend a helping hand. I remember many times laughing and chatting with Joy as she truly was a "joy" to be around. We lived only a few blocks from each other and I honestly can't remember a time she was angry or hateful. I am sorry to hear of her passing and will keep the rest of her family in my prayers. I was lucky to have known Joy Klimek and am sorry I lost touch with her after high school.

Joy matched her name and I was fortunate to worship with her at 1st Assembly of God and work with her in the Sheriff's Office. I always referred to her as "my Joy" as she was always so happy she gave Joy to me. I will miss her but know she has perfect healing now. My deepest sympathy on your loss of your beloved sister.
