Aunt LaRee was a very special woman. During the family reunions in Branson it was always a pleasure visiting with her. Definitely a gem of a woman. God Bless.

Harold, Marilyn and family,
I remember how easy she was to visit with and her care of all her grandbabies and my own babies when we would visit you, Marilyn and your boys. What a dear lady! Doug and I will treasure the memory of knowing her.
Much love and sympathy to all of you,
Veda and Doug Siebuhr

Tom & family, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Glen just lost his mom two weeks ago--we were blessed to have them in our lives for so many years! I know my mother always enjoyed visiting with LaRee. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry at the loss of your mother. I have so many wonderful memories of her and your dad and the whole family since I spent half of my childhood at your house (Karen spent the other half at my house). I was happy to have had a chance to have a wonderful visit with LaRee a few months ago. She was a great lady. You are blessed to have had her in your lives for so many years. Love to you all.

Harold, Marilyn and the entire Thexton Family,
I am very saddened to hear of your mother's death. She was truly one of the great ladies of the Colony community. She and my mother became close friends and I know my mother treasures those times they had together. May God continue to uphold you in this time of grief.

To all of LaRee's family, We are sorry for your great loss of a great woman. She was a lovely person, who enjoyed her family, and was a very proud grandmother. I'm sure she was a good mother, and I know for a fact, that she was a great mother-in-law. I am Marilyn's sister, so have known LaRee since I was a young girl. She was always kind, and fun to talk to. We are proud to have known her. You are in our prayers.

LaRee was a gem of a lady. I remember when Mom and Dad brought my brother John and I down to Kansas to visit from Ontario Canada and LaRee taught me how to make homemade ice Cream (YUMMY). Couldn't make it fast enough for me of course but something I will never forget....whenever I talked to LaRee that was always brought up. Now I'm sure that Tom & LaRee and Tom & Marie are having a great reunion.

I know "Grandma T" only through stories relayed by Brian and is wife, Kathie (our daughter). She always sounded wise and fun loving in whe stories that they shared, oh, and a ruthless domino player.
I can thank her for her daughter Carole who had Brian (with Calvins help), who loves our daughter.
