Lela was one of my favorite people at Little Flower, where I volunteer. She never missed any of my Bible Studies, and was always very kind and loving to everyone. She loved Jesus, and I am sure she is happy with Him now.
Lela and her family were long time neighbors and friends of my parents "Pete and Maxine Gordon". I still see "Buddy" in town every once in a while.
Lela always remembered Dad with a Christmas card. He really enjoyed that.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
We had the joy of being Lela's pastor and wife in Garden City. What a dear lady she was...a blessing to us and others. Her son was friends with ours. We will see you in Heaven, Lela, because of God's amazing grace in giving His SonSWEZ to die for our sins.
We loved Lela. She even wrote us letters and we would send her funny and important things. She truly loved Jesus. We will miss her much and knew she went thru many trails and difficult times.
